Australian Geographic Society’s Awards for Nature 2024
Earlier this year, I had the privilege of creating a video for the launch of the Australian Geographic Awards for Nature, an inspiring and groundbreaking conservation initiative. This project allowed me to collaborate closely with Judy Friedlander, founder and director of PlantingSeeds Australia, to showcase the impact of their B&B Highway program—a visionary project supporting biodiversity and environmental education.

As part of this production, I filmed B-roll footage at a primary school, capturing the program in action as students engaged with nature. I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site production, including:

-
Filming and directing scenes to ensure an authentic and engaging narrative.
-
Capturing high-quality audio to complement the visuals.
-
Working with Judy and the students to create a natural, compelling representation of the program’s impact.
-

This project was a fantastic opportunity to document community-driven conservation efforts and highlight the importance of environmental education. It was incredibly rewarding to contribute to a cause that promotes innovative solutions to sustainability challenges, and I’m proud to have played a role in bringing this story to life.
